Mikeya Allen
Mikeya Allen is the Co-Founder of Girls Ment To Be. She is a native of Greenville, MS. Growing up around educators, Mikeya developed an early appreciation for the transformative power of guidance and mentorship.
Mikeya's journey as a mentor began at Tougaloo College where she held her first offical mentoring role through the F.A.M.E. program, supporting freshmen students. She envisions a community where girls are uplifted by strong role models and empowered to pursue their dreams unapologetically.
The strong connections she built with her students-both inside and outside her classroom -opened her eyes and heart to the profound impact she could have on young lives. By fostering meaningful connections between mentors and mentees, Mikeya aims to inspire the next generation of confident, capable leaders who will positively impact their communities and beyond.
